A festive evening of music and heritage will take place at County Hall Kingston by London Square on Tuesday 16 December, as the acclaimed Tiffin Choirs present a special Christmas concert in the building’s magnificent Grand Hall. The former Surrey County Council headquarters on Penrhyn Road will provide a striking backdrop, offering guests a rare opportunity to experience the landmark building as it undergoes careful restoration.
The programme will feature Benjamin Britten’s A Ceremony of Carols, alongside seasonal favourites including In the Bleak Mid-Winter, Candlelight Carol and O Come, All Ye Faithful. Conducted by Glen Dempsey, with harp accompaniment by Esther Beyer, the concert will bring together members of the school community and local residents for an evening celebrating music, architecture and the future of one of Kingston’s most significant historic buildings.
